Embrace winter at Barrie’s annual Winterfest & Festival of Ice. Winter adventure and entertainment for all ages including: ice sculptures, dog sled rides, lumberjack shows, polar bear swim (if you dare), horse-drawn wagon rides, an ice maze, snow slides and crafts.

Moderately paced, naturalist led walking tours are held every second and fourth Sunday throughout the year. Learn about owls and dissect an owl pellet to find tiny skulls inside. Then bundle up and head to the forest to call for owls and listen for their winter song.
